I'm an Internet enthusiast. In kindergarten, I was voted 'Best Artist' and I've been a designer ever since. This is a collection of things that tickle my fancy.

This is probably the best cover of Get Lucky I’ve heard yet. Currently the soundtrack to my Sunday productivity.

Award-winning artist Katharine Morling creates whimsical and often outlandish sculpture from porcelain and ceramics. Instead of simply making the pieces and leaving them in their ceramic form, the added touch of black in certain spots creates an illusive effect, making the everyday objects look like drawings in real life.

Synonym

Synonym specializes in both art consultation and event planning/management. Much like the word itself, Synonym bridges two concepts through meaning, pairing artists of multiple disciplines with a wide range of spaces.

When creating their brand, I knew It would be important for the logo to be flexible while working with the idea of connection through meaning.

The logo is a solid square that can be applied over any image, protecting the legibility of the type. The logo type is an altered version of Courier New, with a diagonal line placed within the “O”.

When applied to two images, the square logo gains a diagonal line that simultaneously splits and connects the different works. This line acts as a bridge and is used throughout Synonym’s branded materials.
